Bad Schandau

Situated on the main street of the german city Bad Schandau by the river Elbe, this building was until 1990 the second biggest cinema of the DDR. Built in 1956, it could contain 400 spectators. This cinema is now the center of the Nationalpark "Sächsische Schweiz". The "neo-classic" facade has been preserved but the rest of the building has been renovated and transformed. As a testimony of the old activity, a projection room can receive about 100 people for different occasions.
